Hi everyone, this is Loran from LORAN GRAHAM Co.

It’s been a little while since my last video update — and quite a lot has happened in the world since then.

Ashley, Zach, and I were in Florida last month attending the national Kingdom Advisors conference, where over 3,000 Christian financial professionals gathered to sharpen our thinking about wise stewardship, the latest developments in faith-based investing, and how to serve families well -- and global best practices around that.

We heard from bestselling authors Bob Goff (on having a child-like faith), Katherine Wolf on seeing God’s goodness and hope even when things don’t go our way, and Randy Alcorn on what it looks like to live out an authentic love for God and others. Money makes a terrible master… but it can be an excellent servant when yielded to Jesus and harnessed for good. Love that.

One of the themes that stood out this year was living with purpose. As author Mitch Anthony put it, “You need enough money to sleep at night, and enough purpose to get up in the morning.” Well said.

This month has also brought difficult headlines in March with the conflict developing in Iran. Anytime we see war and human suffering, our first response is compassion and prayer for those affected. From a market perspective, investors currently appear to be treating this as a short-term geopolitical shock, not a long-term economic disruption.

Historically, markets have tended to weather events like these, and our philosophy remains the same: stay disciplined, stay fully invested and diversified, and focused on the long term.

On a housekeeping note, by now everyone should have received their LPL tax forms and 1099s. If anything looks confusing or if your CPA has questions, please don’t hesitate to call us — we’re happy to help.

You may also notice a few updates to our team. Cassie recently stepped out of her role as she prepares to welcome her new baby (her 6th), and Grace will conclude her internship officially in April. We are actively recruiting to hire a full-time Client Experience Associate to replace these part-time positions and continue to lean into our commitment to excellent service.

And if you visit the office, you may also meet Benny and Maisy — our two mini-goldendoodles who have joined the team’s unofficial hospitality department.

In closing, it’s truly a privilege to walk alongside your families as stewards of the resources God has entrusted to you. Thank you for your business.
