Hello friends,

It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the end of June — and what a difference just three months can make since my last video update in March.

First, a quick market perspective. Back in March, investor sentiment had reached peak pessimism, and yet here we are today with our model portfolios having fully recovered and now back in positive territory for the year - across all risk strategies. As always, past performance is not a guarantee of future results -- but moments like these remind us why we remain disciplined, patient, and committed to a thoughtful long-term strategy rather than reacting emotionally to short-term volatility.

On the business front, I’m excited to share that Kim Perez has officially joined our team full-time as our new Client Experience Manager. Kim has already been doing a fantastic job serving our clients, and I’d encourage you to visit our website and check out her bio so you can get to know her better.

And for those who enjoy the lighter side of office life… our mini doodles, Benny and Maisy, are now fully trained and come with us to the office almost every day — and they seem to bring smiles wherever they go.

But what I really wanted to share today is something a little deeper.

I’ve always believed strongly in personal and professional growth. We attend conferences every year and work hard to stay on top of professional trends and standards, but I’ve been reminded recently that true excellence almost always requires individual coaching.

We see it in athletics, in business leadership, and really in every field where people are striving to become their very best.

That’s why, last month, I began a three-year coaching journey through one of the top development programs in the country for successful entrepreneurs and advisors. Interestingly, one of the very first concepts we’ve been studying is time.

The first coaching session talked about the Greek word Kairos. In Greek, there are actually two words for time.

And often we think of time as the Greek word, Chronos — the ticking clock, the calendar, the schedule.

But other Greek word for time, Kairos is different. It speaks to deeper time… meaningful time… the right moment… the critical moment, for an opportunity uniquely given to us.

As I watch my teenagers grow older, begin driver’s education, and prepare for the next season of life, I’m reminded that stewardship isn’t just about managing finances well.

It’s also about stewarding our time, our health, our relationships, and the opportunities we’ve been given to serve others well.  Our lives are full of these critical moments – the moments that matter.

A friend emailed me the verse in Colossians 1:3-14 the night before my first coaching session. It begins,

“We ask that God give you a complete understanding of what He wants to accomplish with your life.”

What a verse to ponder as you head into executive coaching.  Wow.

And at the end of the day, our mission remains the same: helping you steward well all that you’ve been entrusted with, so you can focus more fully on the things that matter most.  As I continue to learn from this coaching program, my hope is to share some of the big Ahah moments with you along the way.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We appreciate the trust you place in us, and we look forward to serving you well in the months ahead.
