Loran Graham Co. |

Steve Jobs once said, “Great things in business are never done by one person; they’re done by a team of people.” At LORAN GRAHAM Co, we take a team approach to client service. It is truly humbling to see how our company has grown over the years. When I first opened the doors in January 2008, it was just me, a virtual assistant (which is just a fancy term for a call center), and a vision for the future. Now, fast forward nine years and we are blessed with a talented team of individuals.

We take our role of stewardship seriously to help guide our clients manage the resources entrusted to them. But our work is more than just financial planning or investment management. Essentially, we are in the business of relationships, and we strive to build a sense of community among the client families we serve. Our team plays a big part in shaping that culture.

This year in particular was a year of change. Moving to the new office location in the heart of downtown was just one small part of this season of growth. (For more about the office move, see previous blog). It was also a season of growth for our team.

We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our team, Ashley Divine, to help serve in the role of our Front Office Assistant. Ashley is highly organized to assist with office administration, and has a gift for hospitality to help clients feel welcome during their office visit. In the past year, Megan Baker passed her Series 7 and 66 securities exams (registrations held through LPL Financial) and was promoted to Director of Client Operations. Megan’s care and appreciation for our clients is evident in all that she does, and Megan has helped set the tone in the office as a culture of both hard-work and fun. In her new role, Megan is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day office operations as well as overseeing the overall client experience. As part of our commitment to serving with excellence, our goal is to deliver “a Four Seasons experience with FedEx efficiency”.

Jon Davis celebrated his one-year anniversary at the firm and stepped into the role of Associate Wealth Advisor, with increasing responsibility for our financial planning process.  We embrace technology in our service model, and our planning software is state-of-the-art. Jon has helped us leverage this technology aiming to help clients maximize the tools and features available on their private client websites.  Jon has been a tremendous help in managing our firm's expansion.
